Swedish Match is currently accepting applications for a Business Analyst – Head of Business Engagement CHQ.
The Business Engagement (BE) department is part of Swedish Match’s global IT organization, Group IT and represents the primary contact point between Swedish Match global IT organization and all other business areas. Members of the BE team understand business strategy and value drivers and use this skillset to enable IT investment decision making to drive growth and efficiency.

Position Responsibilities

  • Business Analysts work closely with Swedish Match business stakeholders to understand value drivers including how to leverage Information Technology, utilizing Group IT´s expertise in turning great ideas into concrete actions.
  • In close collaboration with each functional unit the Business Analyst identifies and leverage internal as well as external best practices to further enable our business
  • To ensure a strong ability to provide a valid perspective on progressive business ideas the Business Engagement department expect and support Business Analysts to continuously develop their knowledge of evolving trends in technology, understanding of our industry, and insight into organizational value drivers
  • Capture business unit long-term strategies and needs and develop long term IT alignment plan
  • Lead the effort to frame business ideas, pains and needs and translate into value/cost assessment and project specifications
  • Support implementation of project in various capacities: project management, requirement formulation, change management
  • Ensure business unit transparency on Group IT projects and services

  • Curious and observant by nature, with a genuine interest in and capability to understand business strategies, objectives, and processes
  • Builds strong internal relationships, challenges assumptions, and instinctively reacts on value opportunities
  • Pro-actively proposes relevant solutions to address business challenges and tailors communication style to their audience
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration; Science and Engineering or in field of relevance
  • Experience within the interface between IT and the business with a strong interest in how IT can improve operations and business
  • Experience in project management within business/IT projects
  • Great verbal and written communicator, a tactful diplomat, a problem solver and analyzer
  • An excellent performer and comfortable with high speed and great responsibility
  • Result orientated and proactive
